"They make the movie of Mary Poppins at the end,” she blurted out before clapping her hands over her head in mock horror as to what she’d done. “Spoiler,” she said. (x)

Toy Story (1995) - dir. John Lasseter
One of the most important films of all time. Not only did Toy Story announce Pixar as a force to be reckoned with, it was also the first feature-length computer animated film. Oh - and it clearly has mass appeal for all ages, creeds, and what not. There’s so much in this film but what rises above the rest is a love for imagination and a love for filmmaking (look in the last still… recognize that carpet?).
Years later - the animation isn’t all that good, the detail isn’t all that detailed. But the characters are still just as lovable and the heart is just as warming.
